As a Senior Robotics Engineer at Mowito, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced robotic control systems for industrial robotic arms. Leading projects from concept to deployment, you will integrate AI-driven perception, planning, and control to address complex automation challenges. Collaboration with the AI, hardware, and deployment teams is essential to deliver cutting-edge automation solutions to real-world factories. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced robotic perception, planning, and control systems for high-DOF industrial arms. You will take ownership of projects from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing optimization. Additionally, you will invent and implement novel algorithms to enhance robot intelligence, perception, and autonomy. Integrating AI and machine learning models into real-time robotic control pipelines and optimizing system performance for low latency, robustness, and industrial reliability will be crucial aspects of your role. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics software development. Proficiency in C++ and Python, a solid foundation in robotics fundamentals, experience with ROS/ROS2, and hands-on deployment of robotic systems in industrial environments are required qualifications. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to debug complex software-hardware interactions, and a comfort with a fast-paced startup environment are also necessary.
