Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance Ellucian Banner modules (Student, Finance, HR, Financial Aid, etc.). Design and develop custom solutions and modifications using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and Banner-specific tools. Integrate Banner with third-party applications using APIs, web services, and other integration tools. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and user-reported problems. Collaborate with functional users and business analysts to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation of changes and new developments. Support database patching, upgrades, and deployment activities. Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner ERP system. Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and database procedures. Experience working with Banner Extensibility, Ethos, or other Ellucian tools (like ESM, EIS, or ILP) is a plus. Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools. Understanding of Student Information Systems (SIS) and higher education processes. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ellucian Banner 9 (or XE) environment. Familiarity with Ellucian Ethos integration platform. Knowledge of WebTailor, AppNav, or related tools. Experience with agile/scrum methodologies. Prior experience working in a higher education institution.
