As a 3D Rigging and Animator at Adstacks, you will play a crucial role in our game development team. Your primary responsibility will be rigging and animating 3D characters, creatures, and props across various game genres. We are seeking an individual with exceptional technical skills and a keen eye for movement, timing, and storytelling through animation. Your key responsibilities will include creating and implementing high-quality rigs for characters and objects, designing efficient game-ready rigs, animating in-game actions, collaborating with different team members, ensuring animation optimization and compatibility with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, troubleshooting rigging issues, refining motion capture data, and maintaining consistency in animation quality and style. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Game Design, or a related field, possess at least 1 year of professional experience in rigging and character animation (preferably in games), have proficiency in Maya, Blender, or similar 3D animation software, a strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and facial expressions, experience with skinning, weight painting, and IK/FK systems, familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine pipeline, a strong portfolio showcasing rigging and animation work, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent time management and communication skills. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have experience with physics-based animation, procedural rigging, motion capture pipelines, and a passion for gaming and storytelling.
