You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons tailored for IIT-JEE foundation students, keeping in line with NCERT and competitive exam syllabi. Your focus will be on teaching various topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, and Number Systems with a specific emphasis on IIT concepts. Additionally, you will prepare students conceptually for Olympiads, NTSE, and upcoming JEE-level challenges by developing comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and conducting regular assessments. Identifying learning gaps and providing necessary remediation or advanced support as required will be a part of your responsibilities. You will also conduct doubt-clearing sessions and offer one-on-one mentoring when needed. Maintaining student performance records, sharing feedback with parents and coordinators, collaborating with peers for curriculum planning, and integrating best teaching practices will be key aspects of your role. Moreover, active participation in internal trainings and academic reviews is expected. To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics or a related field (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech), with a preference for B.Ed. although not mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Maths at the foundation or competitive level is required. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge along with a genuine passion for teaching. Prior experience in preparing students for Olympiads, NTSE, or foundation-level JEE examinations is desirable. Excellent communication skills, effective classroom management abilities, and the skill to simplify complex concepts for junior students are essential. Proficiency in utilizing smart boards, online platforms, and digital content is crucial. A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a student-first approach will thrive in this role.
