Role & responsibilities Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor. Job Description: As a Lead for the Information Solutions team, you will have overall responsibility to lead and develop projects with clients across multiple industry sectors primarily focused on Information Solutions scope. This scope can include projects related to SCADA, reporting, IoT, data collection, reporting, or analytics. Responsibilities: Technical project execution within the Information Solutions group, which includes budget, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction. Interface with clients to define and manage scope on complex projects. Understanding project requirements in order to develop/configure industrial control packages accordingly for use in manufacturing space. Understanding technical and operational constraints to create project development and commissioning plans. Working as an individual or in a team with other software engineers. Familiarity with Rockwell (ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500) and Siemens PLCs, Panel View HMIs is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for supporting industrial IoT applications, troubleshooting issues, and developing innovative use cases that optimize industrial processes. Key Responsibilities : Provide technical support for Industrial IoT solutions and troubleshoot issues. Develop and implement IIoT use cases to enhance industrial efficiency. Execute IoT IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks. Work with IoT devices, cloud platforms, and edge computing for scalable solutions. Collaborate with industrial teams to identify challenges and propose solutions. Key Performance Indicators : Configure and maintain industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, UDP). Develop preventive maintenance schedules, reporting systems, alerts, and Grafana dashboards. Ensure efficient data collection, processing, and analysis for predictive maintenance. Stay updated with IIoT trends, security practices, and emerging technologies. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IoT engineering. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in industrial environments. Experience with Azure Cloud, PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation. Proficiency in Python , JavaScript , and Node-RED . Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and Time-Series databases. Knowledge of edge computing and embedded systems. Expertise in OS installation and hardware troubleshooting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Functional Skills/Competencies : Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or other IoT hardware. Basic knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting. Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cybersecurity for industrial IoT.
