Ignition SCADA/MES Engineers

As a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer at the company, your role will involve HMI/SCADA design and development, creating and updating tag databases as per project requirements. Having knowledge of OPC servers (e.g. Kepware) will be beneficial. It will also be advantageous to have knowledge of SCADA development in line with Batch Control standard S88. Your responsibilities will include extrapolating relevant data from P&IDs, Wiring diagrams, SOPs, Control Philosophy, and similar documents for project execution. Additionally, you will be involved in on-site commissioning or remote support based on project needs. You should be prepared to travel internationally as required by the project. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop HMI/SCADA systems - Create and update tag databases - Extract relevant data from technical documents - Provide on-site commissioning and remote support - Travel internationally as needed Qualifications Required: - Engineering degree in any stream - Certified Ignition Engineer - Minimum 3-8 years of experience - SCADA/Historian Ignition Core Certification - Working knowledge of executing Ignition Projects - Hands-on experience with Python Scripting and SQL queries - Familiarity with communication/network protocols such as OPC, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP - Knowledge of MES products like Sepasoft - Ignition Advanced certification (advantageous) Preferred domains/industries for this role are Process Automation, specifically in Metals & Mining, Infrastructure & Utilities, Energy/Oil & Gas, and Power sectors.
