Role Overview: As an Ignition Engineer, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing new modules on the Ignition platform using the Ignition SDK. You will be responsible for integrating Ignition modules with existing systems and third-party APIs to ensure seamless functionality. Additionally, you will optimize platform features for performance, scalability, and security. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions will be a key aspect of your job. You will also be conducting thorough testing and debugging of modules to ensure high-quality deliverables. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of module development processes and updates will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement new modules on the Ignition platform using the Ignition SDK - Integrate Ignition modules with existing systems and third-party APIs - Optimize platform features for performance, scalability, and security - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of modules - Maintain comprehensive documentation of module development processes and updates Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of software development experience with at least 3 years focused on Ignition or similar SCADA platforms - Proficiency in Ignition SCADA scripting, Java, Python, and relevant industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, PL SQL - Strong understanding of the Ignition SDK and module development practices - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to innovate in industrial contexts - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Role Overview: As an Ignition Engineer, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing new modules on the Ignition platform using the Ignition SDK.
