Then this role might be the most unusual and fulfilling one you will ever find! We are building the Traffic Rules Engine: a software product that enables autonomous vehicles to understand and comply with local traffic laws worldwide. To make this possible, we translate human-written traffic regulations, full of nuances, exceptions, interpretation and context, into a machine-readable format. Your mission is to become part of the team that formalizes these laws into logic - the bridge between legal text and autonomous reasoning. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ What you will do · Analyse traffic laws, regulations, and standards across countries or regions. · Deconstruct and interpret complex legal text to identify actionable rules and logical conditions. · Translate those human laws into structured, machine-readable rule sets using our proprietary methodology and tools. · Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, and ADAS specialists to ensure consistency and accuracy. · Participate in validating and refining the Traffic Rules Engine as it evolves through real-world scenarios. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Who you might be We’re open to different professional backgrounds, because this work sits at the crossroads of engineering, data, and law. You might identify with one (or several) of these profiles: · Homologation Engineer : experienced with regulatory compliance and technical documentation. · Traffic Laws Specialist or Legal Expert : skilled at interpreting legislation, related court verdicts and its real-world implications. · ADAS or Autonomous Driving Data Scientist : familiar with logic, simulation, or behaviour modelling.
