IGNATOR/ TEACHER

Agastya International Foundation is looking for passionate and dedicated Ignators/Teachers to join the team in Cuttack and Khordha districts. As an Ignator, you will have a pivotal role in igniting curiosity and fostering scientific temper among students through creative and hands-on teaching approaches. You will be responsible for delivering interactive and engaging science and technology-based sessions to school students, promoting experiential learning with innovative teaching methodologies, conducting regular classroom sessions and community science outreach activities, as well as maintaining records of sessions, student feedback, and learning outcomes. Additionally, you will support in organizing educational events, workshops, and exhibitions. The ideal candidate should have a background in B.Sc-IT, CS, BCA, MCA, or B.Tech (in IT or Computer Science), along with a strong passion for teaching and working with children. Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use digital tools in teaching are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in teaching or conducting workshops will be an added advantage. A creative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are preferred skills. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, with additional perks such as performance bonuses and yearly bonuses. Candidates should be willing to commute or relocate to Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, with a preference for those already based in the area.
