Job role Role & Responsibilities: Primary responsibility of understanding the process, extraction of relevant data from SAP to identify outliers, analyze the root cause, suggest the corrective solutions and process improvements.Processing of lease contract creations, modifications in SAP REFX moduleProcessing of lease vendor invoices in SAP REFX module.Communication of local market site management & FinOps SPOCs for resolving their queries and requirementsPreparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations of ROU, LL, Clearing and other associated GL accounts. Role & responsibilities in our dynamic telecommunications company, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our customers worldwide. We're seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join our finance team, with specific focus on managing deferred revenue and revenue under IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, Oracle Fusion experience, and telecom industry expertise. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting for revenue recognition and deferral processes in compliance with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 Ensure accurate recording of complex telecom revenue streams including subscriptions, bundled offerings, and contract modifications Prepare and analyze deferred revenue reports and reconciliations Support month end close processes related to revenue recognition Document revenue recognition policies and procedures Collaborate with IT and business teams to optimize Oracle Fusion revenue modules Review contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment Provide expertise during audit processes and regulatory inquiries Prepare deal sheets for the larger deals outlining the accounting treatment while collaborating with both sales and technical to draw conclusions Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 4+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years focused on revenue accounting Demonstrated experience with IFRS 15/16 implementation and application in telecom Proficiency in Oracle Fusion applications, particularly revenue modules Telecommunications industry experience (essential) Strong understanding of telecom revenue models including bundled services, multiple element arrangements, and contract modifications Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis Experience with revenue related system implementations or upgrades Ability to interpret complex contracts and their accounting implications in the telecom industry Excellent communication skills to explain technical accounting concepts Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail *IMMEDIATE JOINERS*

RESPONSIBILITIES: Take E2E ownership for the accuracy & correctness of the books for the country with high -complex legal structure To manage and co-ordinate the end to end process for transacting, closing and reporting the Group accounts including control and reconciliation of the general ledger Ensure effective management of all input to financial systems and the control, verification, and processing of all financial transactions either through the own team or the external service provider Ensure accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards and secures integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice Present & explain movements in financial statements to National Finance Director /VP Finance/Controller in quarterly close meetings Verify accounts reconciliation performed by service provider Ensure intercompany balances at minimum level To lead strategic continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model Manage the relationship with Service Recipient Managers in the MCOs. Interact with the Controllers and National Finance Director or VP Finance wherever required Developing win-win relationships with selected providers to meet our current and future requirements Take responsibility for the end-to-end financial accounting process for the country serviced WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Experiences & Qualifications: University degree (preferable accountancy, economy, or finance) or ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant would be an asset Good knowledge of IFRS and Financial Accounting skills Demonstrated track record of excellent service delivery and crisis management Skills: Embedding a service excellence mindset and focusing on client and user needs Effective communications both written and oral in English Ability to apply professional knowledge in accounting provisions, accounting principles, preparation, audit and disclosure requirements to make appropriate judgements and recommend solutions Project and Change Management Performance Improvement Networking
