What would you do? The role of an AI Research Scientist is both strategic and hands-on, blending deep technical expertise with creative problem-solving. In this position, you will lead the exploration and application of advanced artificial intelligence methodologies, focusing on pushing the boundaries of what is possible with data-driven insights. Your background in engineering or science, complemented by a decade or more of experience, will enable you to devise and execute research agendas that align with organizational goals. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, prototype, and scale AI solutions tailored to complex, real-world challenges. This includes formulating research hypotheses, designing experimental frameworks, and validating innovative algorithms across domains such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.AI Research Scientists are expected to stay abreast of emerging trends, contribute to scholarly publications, and translate theoretical advances into practical business impact. Demonstrating strong communication skills, you will effectively articulate research outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your role will also involve mentoring junior researchers, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, and ensuring rigor in all research activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the exploration, design, and implementation of advanced AI methodologies, including NLP, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, to solve complex business problems. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale AI research projects, from ideation and proof-of-concept to deployment and post-implementation review, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives Provide strategic direction to the AI research agenda, proactively identifying high-impact opportunities for innovation and guiding the team in setting ambitious yet achievable goals. Represent the AI research team in executive forums, steering committees, and client briefings, championing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies across the organization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, prototype, and deploy scalable AI solutions across domains such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models (LLMs), utilizing both cloud and open-source technologies. Formulate research hypotheses, design experimental frameworks, and validate innovative algorithms to drive business impact and address real-world challenges. Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, contribute to scholarly publications, and ensure the translation of theoretical advances into practical, client-focused solutions. Articulate research outcomes and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills. Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, rigor, and continuous learning within the team. Establish and maintain strong client relationships, understanding and addressing their business challenges through tailored AI-driven approaches. Manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, demonstrating resilience and the ability to perform under pressure. Promote best practices in AI research, ensuring methodological rigor, ethical standards, and measurable business results.
