Proven knowledge and experience on performing complex transmission power system studies such as: steady state analysis, short circuit analysis, transient stability analysis, generator model validation. Any additional experience on the following fields is beneficial: electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations, cable design, protection coordination and relay settings studies, harmonic analysis, small signal stability, adequacy studies and probabilistic approaches. Proven experience in modeling and integrating HVDC systems and inverter-based resources into transmission networks, with a focus on assessing their feasibility and impact on grid stability. Familiarity with emerging grid-forming converter technologies and their application in renewable energy integration is beneficial. Experience working closely with or within transmission utilities/TSOs on interconnection projects or advanced grid studies (eg cross-border interconnectors, renewable energy integration, large-scale battery storage projects). Familiar with international grid codes and standards (eg IEC, IEEE) relevant to transmission planning and grid connection requirements. Strong proficiency in power system simulation software Siemens PSS E is essential. Experience with additional power system analysis tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory and/or PSCAD (in particular for electromagnetic transient studies or detailed converter modeling). Ability to automate studies using Python scripting is beneficial. Ability to manage tasks effectively under time and resource constraints, delivering results with good quality even under pressure.
