A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Device Driver software development and testing which includes a good know-how of standard software development Life Cycle. Experience in AUTOSAR MCAL and exposure to ISO26262 [Expertise in other domains with embedded background more than welcome Embedded system software development or Validation using C, assembly languages. Experience in the usage of LabView, NI FPGA, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power benches etc. Experience in embedded system development tools such as compilers, debuggers, static analysers etc. Working experience in scripting languages such as Perl, python, C# etc Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262 is desirable. Acquaintance with development toolchains such as GNU, Tasking, and WINDRIVER. Experience in the development/maintenance of the test automation and continuous integration frameworks. Good knowledge of computer architecture (16/32bit), real-time systems.

Areas of Responsibility Nature of projects AUTOSAR and ISO26262 based micro-controller device driver development and validation for various peripherals [like ADC, GPT, Timers, PORT, SPI, PWM, DMA, SMU, etc.,] of Infineons automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore architecture or equivalent. Broad responsibilities Participate and contribute to requirements elicitation and definition phase of the project Develop Test Strategy and institutionalize the methods and related templates to enable the usage of the tools and test equipment wherever required/possible Envisage, implement, institutionalize and maintain the Test methods and infrastructure for validating MCAL device drivers (e.g. automation to improve quality and efficiency in terms of cost and time ) Evaluate change requests to products, conduct analysis and derive impact for planning by team Conceive and develop validation infrastructure for topics in own responsibility Support CoC Head with work breakdown structure and estimates Conduct reviews of various artefacts [Test Specifications, Scripts, Quality Reports] and recommend necessary actions Position Requirements - Education: B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation Specific or Entrepreneurial Knowledge: Embedded system software development/Validation in C, assembly languages & SDLC Good knowledge of Microcontroller Architecture (16/32bit), real-time systems Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262 is desirable Acquaintance with development/Testing tool-chains such as GNU, Tasking, WINDRIVER - Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach etc. Proven ability to work with standard lab equipments - oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power benches etc - Good team player in a multi-site work environment
