Your role will involve acting as the Business Unit Point of Contact for product approvals and certification activities globally. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive lean processes, coordinate with testing/certification agencies, ensure timely closure of regulatory approval activities, and provide guidance to internal teams on technical requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the Business Unit PoC for product approvals & certification activities worldwide. - Act as a project manager, ensuring diligent and organized execution of agency approval activities. - Spearhead continuous improvement activities like 5S and Kaizen events to drive lean processes. - Coordinate with testing/certification agencies, track projects, and ensure timely closure of regulatory approval activities. - Establish and maintain accurate records of the approval process in TE systems. - Conduct training sessions on agency requirements and standards for internal teams. - Drive cost reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives within product certification projects. - Assist the Product Approval Manager in managing certification projects for timely and accurate delivery. - Support the manager in maintaining the BU product approval management platform. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience in Product Safety Certification Domain - BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering - In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance processes for electrical safety products and standards - Strong understanding of engineering design practices, product development lifecycles, and design change management - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global stakeholders - Strong project/program/stakeholder and information management skills - Ownership mindset and commitment to quality results - Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience - Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing cross-functional training **About TE Connectivity:** TE Connectivity plc is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
