As a Finance Controller at Gargee Hotels, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our hotel operations. With our reputation for premium service and elegant properties, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who is committed to excellence. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and monitoring cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. It is essential that you have knowledge of the IDS module and Tally to effectively carry out these tasks. In terms of compliance and controls, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity will also be a key aspect of your role. You will be expected to analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor departmental budgets, and support cost-effective decision-making. Additionally, coordinating internal and external audits, identifying financial risks, and recommending mitigation strategies will be part of your duties. Leading and mentoring the finance team, collaborating with other departments to support operational efficiency, and ensuring strong teamwork will be essential components of your role. Your qualifications should include a CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in hotel or hospitality finance, and a strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations. Proficiency in hotel accounting software such as IDS, Tally, and SAP, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, will be critical for your success in this position.
