Hiring for IDP/IAM Engineer || IDP/IAM Developer Experience- 3 TO 5 Years Module- Hybrid Role- IDM/IAM Test Engineer Your tasks: Developing test strategies, test plans and test cases based on specified requirements and design documents. Performing test case execution to validate the functionality, performance, and security of IAM systems and applications. This involves manual testing, as well as using test automation tools where applicable. Identifying and documenting software defects, tracking their status, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Configuring and maintaining the necessary test environments, including servers, databases, network configurations, and user roles, to simulate real-world scenarios. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and to provide clear and concise updates on testing progress and issues. Your qualifications & Skills Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar experience Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues encountered during IDM testing. Ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions. Understanding of identity management concepts and principles, including user provisioning, user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), identity synchronization, and password management. Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases specifically tailored for IDM systems. Proficiency in test estimation, risk assessment, and prioritization. Experience and knowledge of various testing techniques, such as functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing. Sound experience in analyzing logs, effectively troubleshooting and debugging issues in IDM systems. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and recommendations to different stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment and understanding. Experience with identity management applications such as midPoint or similar Knowledge of agile development processes and tools such as JIRA, Git, and GitLab CI Familiarity with modern infrastructure, i.e. Kubernetes and container technologies Role- IDM/IAM Test Developer Specify technical requirements in collaboration with other team members Writing code to modify and customize the IDM system via configuration as code to align with the unique business requirements of the organization. Integrating the IDM system with existing enterprise systems, such as directories (e.g., Active Directory), HR systems, and application servers, to ensure seamless user provisioning and access management. Conducting thorough testing of the IDM system to identify and resolve any functional or security issues before deployment. Creating and managing the database schema required to store user information, access policies, and other relevant data. Documenting the system design, development process, and operational procedures to facilitate future maintenance and troubleshooting.
