In the role of an IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) Developer/Administrator, you will be instrumental in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of seamless integration solutions across McGraw Hill's software systems and workflows. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and reliable data flow and connectivity to support the organization's operations effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing high volume, mission-critical cloud-native applications using IDMC. - Creating Service Connectors and Application Connections for real-time integration with third-party applications. - Automating file lifecycle management and administrative tasks through a combination of IDMC and Python scripting. - Providing guidance to third-party developers to ensure adherence to design standards, coding best practices, and accountability throughout the software development lifecycle. - Establishing and maintaining a robust operational support framework for the Informatica IDMC platform. - Monitoring, identifying, and resolving production issues as needed. The ideal candidate for this role would possess: - 5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC, specifically in IDMC Development. - Over 2 years of Administrator Experience in IICS/IDMC. - More than 2 years of experience with Informatica CAI and CDI Applications/tools. - 2+ years of experience with Python scripting for development purposes. - Proficiency in SQL, ETL development, data warehousing, and performance tuning would be advantageous.
