Company Description Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) by Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is a flagship scheme launched in 2018. iDEX aims to foster innovation and technology development in Defence and Aerospace by engaging with startups, individual innovators, MSMEs, incubators, etc. The scheme provides grants, funding, and other support for R&D with potential for future adoption by Indian defence and aerospace sectors. iDEX has become a significant game changer in the defence sector and has received the PM award for Innovation. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Manager located in Roorkee. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating various programs within iDEX. This includes engaging with startups, individual innovators, and other stakeholders, overseeing funding and grants, and ensuring the successful execution of R&D projects. The Program Manager will also monitor progress, provide strategic direction, and ensure alignment with the objectives of iDEX. Qualifications Program management and project coordination skills Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of funding and grant management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Experience in the defence, aerospace, or technology sectors is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
