Key Responsibilities:

• Identity Workflow Automation:

• Design, develop, and implement automated IAM processes including user provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

• Security Tool Integration:

• Integrate tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners to create end-to-end automated security pipelines.

• Scripting and Development:

• Develop efficient and well-documented scripts using Python, PowerShell, Go, and JavaScript for automation and system integrations.

• API Utilization:

• Leverage APIs from enterprise and security tools to enable seamless data exchange and trigger automated actions.

• Workflow Orchestration:

• Utilize orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and SOAR platforms (e.g., IBM SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR) to streamline security operations.

• Monitoring and Alerting:

• Implement automated monitoring mechanisms for identity-related and security events, ensuring proactive detection and resolution.

• Incident Response Automation:

• Develop and manage automated playbooks to reduce MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR (Mean Time to Respond).

• Documentation:

• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all automated workflows, integrations, and scripts.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance automation capabilities to reduce manual effort in security operations.

• Collaboration:

• Partner with security, IT, and development teams to gather requirements and implement scalable security automation solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms:

  Devo, IBM SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR, Microsoft Copilot for Security

• Experience in

  SOC Level 1/Level 2 monitoring and operations

• Expertise in

  SOC/SOAR content development

  including use case creation, playbook design, and incident workflows
• Proficiency in scripting languages:

  Python, PowerShell, Go, JavaScript
