As a Critical Care Physician in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This includes conducting thorough assessments, making accurate diagnoses, and formulating effective treatment plans. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to ensure the delivery of optimal care and to enhance patient outcomes. You will be expected to perform various procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management. Effective communication with patients" families regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and care decisions is crucial for maintaining transparency and trust. In addition to providing direct patient care, you will play a key role in the development of ICU protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Supervising and mentoring ICU staff, including residents and fellows, will be part of your responsibilities to ensure high standards of critical care management. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in critical care medicine and implementing evidence-based practices will be crucial in delivering high-quality care to patients. To qualify for this role, you must possess a Medical degree MD/DNB(Anaesthesiology) from an NMC recognized institution. Having an IDCCM certification will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Your ability to manage high-pressure situations with a calm and systematic approach will be instrumental in providing effective critical care. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates. The work schedule may involve day shifts, Monday to Friday, with rotational shifts and weekend availability as required. The work location will be in person.
