Experience in simulating underhood thermal, heat exchangers, cooling ducts, and engine compartment airflow. Proficiency in setting up and solving transient and steady-state thermal and flow simulations. Ability to define boundary conditions, select appropriate turbulence models, and perform mesh optimization for accurate results. Experience in working with CAD data and model building logics for vehicle-level simulation. Strong knowledge of automotive thermal management. Experience in debugging and optimizing simulation models for computational efficiency. Strong understanding of CFD theory and vehicle energy systems. Actively contributing to Design Board or Tech Community while representing TSD tools team in those forums Required Qualifications: PhD/Post Graduate degree from an accredited university with focus in ingestion, CFD and heat transfer Minimum of five years of experience with industry in ingestion, CFD and heat transfer Good understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, CFD, heat transfer and particle transport modeling & associated physics Skilled in programming languages like Fortran, C/C++, Python and ability to write/debug basic code functionalities Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
