Job Title: ICD-10-AM Medical Coder – Saudi Healthcare

Location: On-site, Chennai

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced ICD-10-AM medical coders to support inpatient and outpatient coding projects for leading healthcare providers in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Australian Coding Standards (ACS), ACHI, and AR-DRG grouping, with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS guidelines. Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure coding reflects the patient’s condition and treatment. Ensure compliance with Saudi MOH and NHIC coding regulations and payer-specific requirements. Collaborate with QA teams to resolve coding discrepancies and improve documentation quality. Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks as per project SLAs. Participate in audits, training sessions, and continuous learning initiatives.

Qualifications:

Advantage, if certification in ICD-10-AM coding (e.g., HIMAA or equivalent). Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in ICD-10-AM coding, preferably for Saudi or GCC clients. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathophysiology. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data confidentiality.
