We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Control (QC) Engineer with a strong background in construction to oversee and ensure the compliance of our projects in Liberia with quality standards, technical specifications, and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction quality control, with the ability to develop and implement robust quality plans, perform inspections, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure construction excellence. Responsibilities: Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Supervise and perform material inspections, site inspections, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ACI). Monitor daily construction activities and ensure adherence to construction drawings, method statements, and technical submittals. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) and follow up on their closure. Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding quality issues, inspections, and approvals. Maintain and update quality documentation, logs, checklists, and quality records in accordance with project QA/QC protocols. Conduct internal audits and support external audits by providing documentation and evidence of compliance. Provide training and mentoring to junior QC staff and ensure all project staff are aware of quality requirements. Support project close-out by preparing as-built documentation and quality dossiers for client handover. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
