The candidate will be a part of the Projects and Support team. The team is responsible for procurement, planning, administration and implementation activities around setting up warehouses across India. The candidate shall be working out of Chennai and report to the Corporate. The work involves limited travel to the work sites across India. Job Description: Coordinate with sales team for understanding the capex / opex requirements for current or new projects Identify and collaborate with right vendor partners to get the cost commercials and lead times for the as required for New or existing projects. Preparing project plan tracker for implementation. Ensure tracker being updated daily to monitor the vendor SLA’s. Order processing and raising advance request to accounts. Follow up with vendors towards work initiation and monitoring every day towards work development. Ensure quality products of bought out items. Timely escalation to internal team towards vendor failures to plan alternate. Active participation in project review meetings with stakeholders. Handing over of project by obtaining sign off from ops team. Build relationships with vendor, customer & Internal team. Continuously review and ensure the company is purchasing quality products at the best available prices and lead times to maintain a competitive advantage. Keeping track of all assets procured for the projects through their life cycle. Supporting running projects for new procurement of Capex / Opex requirements. Timely communication to the key stakeholders, the status of the procurement / service support requirements. Coordinating with vendors and internal accounts team for invoice to payment cycle Qualifications: Degree holder 3-4 years of experience in project procurement and implementation (preferably in a logistics company) Good negotiating skill Excellent Oral, verbal & mail communication Good excel knowledge by preparing reports & dashboard Should be well organized to multitask and to handle the escalations It is an opportunity to upscale and benchmark your career growth.
