Required Technical and Professional Experience 8+ Years of Experience in IBM DataPower and API Connect Administration. Install, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower appliances and API Connect infrastructure in a clustered environment, ensuring high availability and load balancing for APIs. Extensive experience working with API Connect (v5 and v10) build & administration. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to DataPower, API Connect, API traffic, and overall system health. Manage and maintain SSL certificates, cryptographic objects, and security configurations on DataPower devices and API Connect gateway. Work closely with network and security teams to integrate DataPower appliances and API Connect into the existing infrastructure and enforce security best practices. Participate in on -call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues related to DataPower and API Connect. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. Proven experience as an IBM DataPower Administrator with expertise in managing and configuring DataPower appliances. Solid understanding of API concepts, protocols, and RESTful principles. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) to automate tasks and implement monitoring solutions. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues in a timely manner. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams. IBM DataPower and API Connect certifications are a plus.
