IB Math Teacher

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons for IB Mathematics courses, including Analysis and Approaches (SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (SL/HL). Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the IB curriculum and assessment criteria. Support students in completing Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) related to mathematics. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and academic support. Prepare students for IB exams through review sessions, practice tests, and exam strategies. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in IB professional development. Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and school administration. Incorporate technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
