The Kulish School is seeking a dynamic and inquiry-driven MYP Chemistry Teacher to become a valued member of our collaborative team. As an ideal candidate, you will be responsible for guiding students in exploring scientific concepts, fostering critical thinking, and establishing real-world connections in accordance with the IB MYP framework. Your key responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons that are in line with MYP Science objectives. You will be expected to encourage scientific inquiry, develop laboratory skills, and promote interdisciplinary learning among students. Additionally, you will design assessments and offer feedback that align with IB criteria. Your contribution to school events, science fairs, and collaborative curriculum planning will be highly valued. To qualify for this role, a Master's degree in Chemistry is preferred, while previous experience in teaching MYP Science is considered advantageous. A solid grasp of the IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning is essential. Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management abilities are also important qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
