As an Assistant Manager in the Audit & Assurance department at KGRN Chartered Accountants L.L.C, you will be a vital part of our team with 3-4 years of experience in accounting and auditing. You will be responsible for leading and executing audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of audit projects. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to large corporations, across various industries. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audit stages in line with professional standards and audit methodology. You will be tasked with preparing detailed audit programs, coordinating with team members to ensure efficient completion of audits, and performing substantive testing, internal control assessments, and risk analysis on financial systems. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Effective communication with clients is key in this role, as you will be responsible for gathering necessary information, providing updates, and addressing any client inquiries or concerns. You will also play a crucial role in coordinating audit tasks with the team, managing workflow to meet deadlines, and reviewing the work of junior staff members to ensure accuracy and compliance with audit standards. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with a professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent. A solid understanding of accounting standards and auditing principles, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office suite, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to staying updated with industry changes and regulations are also crucial.
