About the role As a Cargo Sales Account Manager , you will be responsible for managing customer relationships in either Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad or Mumbai , working with both local and global clients. Your focus will be on driving sales growth by promoting digital tools like eBookings, improving the quality and profitability of cargo revenue, and ensuring that retained business remains financially strong. You’ll represent IAG Cargo in the local market, setting a high standard of service and professionalism. Using tools like Salesforce CRM, you’ll stay organized and efficient while promoting the IAG Cargo network and any future cargo partners to support business expansion. What you’ll do Manage around 35 SME customer accounts, aligning their needs with our commercial strategy. Act as the key link between customers and internal customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions and added value. Promote and sell a wide range of cargo products based on customer requirements. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base. Convert potential business into formal contractual agreements. Collaborate closely with the local GSSA team for daily operational decisions. Conduct at least 15 face-to-face customer meetings per week and log all sales activities in Salesforce CRM. Drive adoption of the eBooking platform to increase digital engagement. Prepare and present weekly and monthly commercial performance reports. Achieve and exceed targets for QNNR (Quality Net Net Revenue) and tonnage. Build a profitable customer portfolio and improve marketing efficiency. Ensure timely debt recovery and manage financial follow-ups. Use a consultative sales approach focused on customer needs rather than just pushing products. Maintain a professional image of IAG Cargo within the industry. Comply with competition laws, business integrity policies (BASI 17), and all internal compliance standards.
