Job Title: Business Development Manager – E-Governance Location: Chennai, India Experience: Minimum 6+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager – E-Governance to lead and expand our CSC (Common Services Center) business , drive new service integrations and acquisitions , and enhance our presence pan India . The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in government project acquisition, stakeholder management, and strategic planning within the E-Governance domain. Key Responsibilities: CSC Business Development: Expand and strengthen the CSC ecosystem across India. Engage with government departments to onboard new G2C/B2C services. Identify revenue-generating opportunities within CSC and allied platforms. New Service Integration: Coordinate with internal tech and product teams for seamless integration of services onto the CSC platform. Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy guidelines. New Service Acquisition: Identify and acquire new E-Governance and digital service opportunities. Prepare business proposals, pitch decks, and MoUs for government and private stakeholders. Stakeholder & Partner Management: Liaise with state and central government departments, policy makers, and service providers. Build strong relationships with VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs), service providers, and government bodies. Pan India Execution: Ensure project execution and service rollout across different states. Travel across India as required for implementation, monitoring, and partnership meetings. Market Research & Reporting: Track policy changes, tenders, and government announcements related to E-Governance. Provide regular reports on project status, new opportunities, and revenue forecasts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, IT, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 6+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the E- Governance/CSC domain . Proven experience in acquiring government and private digital services. Skills Required: Strong understanding of E- Governance frameworks Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to handle complex partnerships with public and private stakeholders. Language proficiency: Fluency in Hindi (mandatory) and any two regional languages . Willingness to travel extensively across India. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience working with CSC SPV, NIC, MeitY, or other government stakeholders. Experience in handling tendering and bidding processes. Tech-savvy and familiar with digital service platforms.
