The role of CNC Plasma Cutting Specialist is a full-time on-site position located in Chennai. As a CNC Plasma Cutting Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines. Your duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, ensuring the quality of final products, and collaborating with a team of professionals to achieve daily production goals. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to standard operating procedures. To qualify for this role, you should have experience in operating and programming CNC plasma cutting machines, preferably with Hypertherm controls. It is essential to possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, height gauges, and micrometers is required. Experience with plasma cutting of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is also necessary. Knowledge of G-code, the capability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are key qualifications for this position. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification are essential requirements for this role. Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting is preferred.
