Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. Strong design fundamentals and understanding of design criteria for pressurized systems working in Dynamic (Engine vibrations) environments. Good understanding of FEA (Structural- static & Dynamic, Thermal Analysis) and Design tools like ANSYS, Unigraphics and Hypermesh. Lead or execute NPI and NTI programs as per the TRL/MRL/ TG process guidelines. May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults/ Collaborate with senior/ other team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. Proactively identifies and helps others recognize lessons learned. Tech. in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree. 2-5 years of relevant experience on design/analyses of gas turbine components.
