Develop and implement MaxL automation scripts for database administration, performance tuning, and process automation. Create and optimize Calc Scripts to support financial planning and reporting processes. Develop and fine-tune MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) scripts for advanced querying and reporting. Collaborate with business analysts, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Monitor and enhance system performance , troubleshooting issues related to data loads, aggregations, and calculations . Ensure compliance with best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery planning . Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Hyperion Essbase development and administration . Strong understanding of ASO and BSO cubes , including performance tuning and optimization . Proficiency in MaxL automation for scripting and automation of Essbase tasks. Hands-on experience with Calc Scripts for business rule development. Expertise in MDX scripting for querying multidimensional databases. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills . Experience with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR), and Smart View is a plus. Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools, and data integration techniques is an advantage.
