Hydrogen Plant Operator

As a Plant Operator (Hydrogen PSA Plant) under a 2-year fixed-term contract, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and control PSA Hydrogen Plant equipment and processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Execute start-up, shutdown, and safe operation of hydrogen generation, purification, and compression systems. - Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, gas purity, alarms, and safety systems, while maintaining accurate operation logs. - Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of plant equipment, valves, and instruments, and coordinate with the maintenance team as needed. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards by enforcing PPE and safety protocols. - Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with maintenance/engineering teams for corrective and preventive actions. - Assist in smooth shift handovers and communicate any deviations or unusual events. - Adhere to all company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, and emergency response protocols. Qualifications / Experience: - Minimum qualification required is ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or equivalent field. - Basic understanding of instrumentation, mechanical systems, and industrial safety norms. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, as part of the contract terms, you will be working full-time based on plant operations. This may include rotating shifts, standby duty, weekends, or overtime as required. Your responsibilities and reporting structure will be aligned with the directives of the Plant Supervisor / Engineer in charge. Please note that the work location is in person at Hosakote, Karnataka.
