Job Posting Form Designation / Position Billing & Planning Engineer /Sr. Engineer Job Description (Minimum 250 characters)* Assist in preparing RA (Running Account) bills, client invoices, and subcontractor bills. Verify measurements and quantities for tunnelling works (excavation, shotcreting, segment erection, grouting, etc.). Coordinate with site engineers and surveyors for daily measurements and quantity updates. ¢ Maintain billing records and support audits. ¢ Assist in preparing and maintaining supporting documents for billing claims (BOQs, drawings, site instructions). ¢ Assist in developing and updating project schedules using software like MS Project or Primavera. ¢ Monitor progress of tunnelling activities (NATM), compare with baseline schedule. ¢ Update daily/weekly/monthly progress reports (DPR/WPR/MPR). ¢ Help identify delays and coordinate with execution teams to catch up. ¢ Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, and work permits related to tunnel works. ¢ Assist in tracking material delivery schedules and equipment mobilization for tunnel segments. ¢ Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors on quantity and timeline clarifications. ¢ Support in quantity take-off for tunnelling activities. ¢ Update cost and resource usage data in project control systems. ¢ Prepare reconciliation statements for materials and BOQ items ¢ Basic knowledge of tunneling methodologies (NATM). ¢ Familiarity with BOQs, drawings, and civil work specifications. ¢ Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera P6. ¢ Good analytical and documentation skills. Liase constantly with the Procurement team as well as the manufacturing team to ensure and avoid any delay in the plan already circulated. In case there is any delay whatsoever he should highlight to all concerned and get the necessary corrections to bring back any delayed activity inline with the plan. Prepare the component dispatch plan which is updated weekly and regularly shared with the customer Ensure that optimised power-plant designs prepared after value engineering exercises done by the design team are used for the projects Ensure all required quality inspections are carried out as scheduled and that quality standards are met In case there is delay in handover to customer, to ensure that all critical items are stored in a place properly covered to ensure there is no deterioration due to environmental conditions.
