As a Civil Engineer specializing in the execution of construction activities for various types of projects, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to civil works in Thermal Power Projects. Your primary duties will include overseeing the construction activities of foundations, buildings, finishing items, and various civil structures. You will also be involved in contractors" bill certification, plumbing, sanitary systems, water supply, sewage treatment, and electrical works. Your expertise will be crucial in executing BOP civil works such as Coal Handling, Ash Handling packages, CW System, DM and PT Plant, water storage reservoirs, roads, drains, tanks, and other civil structures. You will be required to have thorough knowledge of underground and overhead structures, including tunnels, water tanks, towers, and industrial buildings. In addition to hands-on construction activities, you will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and reviewing engineering drawings. Your familiarity with hydraulic structures, steel structures, PCC lining works, and RCC structures will be essential for the successful completion of the projects. Compliance with IS Codes, HSE norms, and relevant documentation standards is also a crucial aspect of this role. Your qualifications should include a BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil works execution for Thermal Power Projects. Experience in projects exceeding 500 MW/660MW capacity will be highly valued. You should be well-versed in project planning, monitoring, and coordination with different departments to ensure the timely and successful completion of construction jobs. Your ability to compile progress reports, adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, and deliver technical documentation as required will be critical for the overall success of the projects. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality work will be essential in this challenging yet rewarding role.,
