Role & responsibilities Structural Design & Coordination: Prepare detailed designs for permanent/enabling structures. Develop and finalize construction methodologies. Supervise execution and review design documents, RFIs, and BOQs. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for approvals and clarifications. Hydraulic Engineering (Water Supply): Design water supply systems including pipelines, pump houses, and reservoirs. Perform hydraulic modeling and network analysis using WaterGEMS. Support pipeline execution, testing, and commissioning. Project Support: Prepare method statements, technical reports, and value engineering proposals. Attend review meetings and interface with authorities and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred candidate profile Having Water Supply Experience Hands-on experience with WaterGEMS , AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and other relevant tools.

The location for this position will be any one of the Offices in India GSG. The Regional Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team 25 - 30 employees and provides mentoring, training, and leadership to inspire the team to achieve their optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Technical Work: Perform scope reviews and planning studies. Water quality and hydraulic analyses and modeling. Work with multi-discipline project teams to produce design drawings and specifications for recommended solutions Assist in the projects through the review of shop drawings and responses to requests for information. Professional engineering (PE) license or Project Management or Chartered Engineering (CEng) preferred. 15+ years of related experience with people management experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Preferred Qualifications Expert Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review designs for high energy hydraulic structures (e.g. spillways, plunge pools, stilling basins) Perform advanced hydraulic modelling (2D/3D CFD and/or physical model review) Evaluate hydrodynamic loads and pressure effects on structures Assess cavitation, air entrainment, flow instabilities, and transient effects Collaborate with civil and geotechnical teams on integrated design solutions Contribute to technical reports, specifications, and design documentation Qualifications Role Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related discipline (Masters degree preferred) Minimum of 8 years experience in hydraulic design for dams, hydropower, or similar infrastructure Strong experience in hydraulic modelling tools (e.g. Flow3D, HEC-RAS, OpenFOAM, or similar) Understanding of physical modelling methods and scale effects Familiarity with high-energy hydraulic phenomena (e.g. water hammer, cavitation, air entrainment) Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE, Engineers Australia, or equivalent) Strong technical reporting and communication skills, with ability to clearly present complex results

Preferred candidate profile 1. Must be CIVIL Engineering graduate from a good engineering college, Masters will be additional advantage 2. EPC company experience is compulsory. Hands-on Design engineering which shall include preparation of DPR, Hydraulic Design/BBS/ Structure design/E&I etc. at Head office level in engineering team minimum 5 years c. Have had handled engineering design team which consist Hydraulic engineers, E&I Engineers, Structure engineers etc. for water infrastructure design d. Have hand-on experience of designing/verification of water infra projects which consist WTP, STP, Pipelines DI/HDPE, OHSR, Canal, irrigation etc.
