The role of an IT&D Architect is crucial in driving solution design activities within the IT Manufacturing product teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions align with the overall Enterprise Architecture and product stream strategy. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in designing, architecting, developing, and documenting Manufacturing IT solutions that address complex challenges across various projects involving Factory Network, Azure, or SaaS platforms. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment lifecycle, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors, you will lead technical discussions, create technical architecture specifications, and offer consultancy and design support for projects. We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of experience in Network, enterprise applications, integration, and Solution Designing. Your deep technical knowledge in networking, infrastructure design, cloud services, and integration will be essential for this role. Specifically, expertise in designing and architecting multi-tier Cloud only / Hybrid networks, knowledge of OT Assets and OT Network integration with Cloud Infrastructure, and familiarity with security services and identity services are highly valued. Proficiency in Azure Networking services and Firewalls is also required. Qualifications: Any professional degree, viz. B.E./ B.Tech / MCA. Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar. Key Responsibilities: Core Networking: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure high availability and performance. Monitor and optimize network performance, security, and reliability. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access controls. Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) Management: Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc.) to secure network perimeters. Hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point). Proficiency in managing web application firewalls (e.g., AWS WAF, Azure WAF, F5, Imperva). Strong understanding of firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). Implement and maintain web application firewalls (e.g., AWS WAF, Azure WAF, F5, Imperva) to protect web applications from threats like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and DDoS attacks. Monitor and analyze firewall logs to identify and mitigate potential security threats. Ensure firewall policies and configurations align with organizational security standards and compliance requirements. Conduct regular firewall rule audits and optimize configurations for performance and security. Cloud Administration & DevOps: Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or others) to support business operations. Design and implement hybrid cloud networking solutions. Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. Automate cloud resource provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate networking and security solutions into CI/CD pipelines. Automate network and firewall configurations using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) with networking and security expertise. Monitor and troubleshoot network and security-related issues in DevOps workflows. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security best practices to protect against cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security teams. Document network designs, firewall configurations, and processes for future reference.
