You are a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician with a strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, installation, commissioning, and refrigerant gases (e.g., R22, R134a, R404A, R410A, R32, etc.). You will be responsible for handling commercial and industrial refrigeration systems used in cold rooms, freezers, HVAC units, and related equipment. Your key responsibilities will include performing installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems and components, handling piping, brazing, and vacuuming of refrigeration lines, charging refrigerant gases, conducting leak testing and pressure testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues in refrigeration systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals, and documenting installation, maintenance, and repair work accurately. To qualify for this role, you should have ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field, a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration installation and service, knowledge of refrigerant gases and safety practices in handling them, familiarity with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems, ability to use HVAC tools and equipment, good communication and team coordination skills, and certification in refrigerant gas handling (if applicable) would be a plus.
