HVAC Chilled Water Project Engineer

They are exclusive dealers of Blue Star, offering a wide range of Air-Conditioning and refrigeration products including Commercial Air Conditioners, Room Air-Conditioners, and VRF Systems. Their core competence lies in centralized air-conditioning projects, having completed large-scale projects for notable establishments in the Coimbatore district.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HVAC Chilled Water Project Engineer at Adit Associates Co in Coimbatore.

Project Engineer

- Able to understand the Autocad drawings for duct and piping design

- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available

- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean

- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required

- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts

- Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans

- Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to contractors and clients

- Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required

- Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team

- Assist the commissioning team during equipment commissioning process

- Prepare the billing and hand over reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree with 1-2 years of site engineering experience
• Fundamental knowledge of HVAC engineering
• AutoCad drawing basics
• MS office, specifically MS excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to commute to project sites on a daily basis
• Strong project management skills
