As an Electrical Engineer with experience in FEED, proposal, and detailed engineering within the EPC industry for Manufacturing units, Data centers, and Buildings/utility projects, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and approving key engineering drawings, calculations, and design documents. Your role will involve preparing discipline estimates and work plans in alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensuring efficient implementation and performance. Additionally, you will coordinate electrical engineering efforts with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, contractors, and other functional groups. Maintaining regular communication with client representatives, suppliers, field personnel, and other disciplines will be essential to ensure work coordination within the project or assignment while adhering to company requirements. You will supervise the day-to-day technical work of discipline engineers, specialists, designers, and drafters to ensure project success. To qualify for this role, you must hold a recognized degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university and possess a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience. Site experience will be considered an added advantage. Your proficiency should include knowledge of main single-line diagrams, protection & metering diagrams, relay setting & protection coordination of the system, UPS sizing, cable sizing, and Grounding. In-depth understanding of Electrical system studies using ETAP software, including short circuit, load flow, and motor starting, is crucial. Experience with equipment sizing, specifications, MR preparation, technical bid evaluation, and vendor print reviews of various electrical equipment such as HV GIS, Busduct, Switchgear, MCCs, Transformers, DC systems/UPS, and Cables is required. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems related to equipment like HVAC, Chilled Water Systems, Condenser Water Systems, Pump controls, Glycol/Glycols, AHU units (DX, split, RTU, CRAC, etc.), CRAH, and Raised Floor Systems is essential. You should be well-versed in Building Power Management interface, including controlling and monitoring Buildings mechanical and electrical equipment like HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control, and security systems. Familiarity with electrical layouts such as Substation Equipment, raceways, lighting, grounding & lightning protection, etc., as well as experience in reviewing 3D models using Autodesk Revit and Model Reviews with the client, will be beneficial. Manage primary engineering teams during project execution, focusing on post-order activities. Review, verify, and approve technical documentation (e.g., SLD, GSLD, GTP, layout foundation) during the execution phase for customer submissions, ensuring coordination of engineering drawing approvals and support during customer FAT inspections.
