Roles & Responsibilities: CAD Design of HV Charging Box and HV E&E Components. Release/Change management, Engineering Documentation. Must Have: Good hands-on experience in CATIA module like Part Design, Surfacing, Assembly design, SMD. Good hands-on experience in Casting, forging, sheet metal, CAD design of E&E Components. Strong understanding of casting processes, materials science, sheet metal components Tooling and manufacturing techniques. Expertise in cooling strategies for high-voltage enclosures (thermal management system). Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of the HV Charging Box using CATIA V5, ensuring design meets functional, performance and safety requirements. Good experience in the design and integration of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) parts within Battery Electric Vehicle. Work with CFT's to ensure seamless integration of the HV Charging Box into the overall charging system. Interface with external casting suppliers, toolmakers, and material vendors to ensure design feasibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Knowledge of GD & T, homologations, Regulatory compliance (e.g. RoHS), EMI/EMC principles and relevant E&E standards. Knowledge of product development cycle. Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, presentation skills and team player. Flexibility for international travel (e.g., 3 months). Good to have: Knowledge of design validation plan preparation of E&E Components, design quality process. Exposure to DFMEA, Design guidelines, DFA, DFM, DFS. VBA / CATIA macro / Programming.
