Roles and Responsibilities of a Sales Promoter The main role of a sales promoter is to drive sales and ensure a positive customer experience. Here are the key responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Sales Greeting Customers: Welcome every customer warmly and actively engage them to understand their needs. Providing Recommendations: Use your product knowledge to recommend the best footwear and accessories that match the customer's style and requirements. Upselling and Cross-selling: Encourage customers to buy complementary products like socks, shoe care kits, or insoles to increase the bill value. Processing Transactions: Accurately handle all sales, returns, and exchanges at the billing counter. Product & Store Management Maintaining Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all new arrivals, promotions, and the features of different footwear categories and brands. Inventory & Display: Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Regularly check product displays and replenish items as needed. Store Cleanliness: Keep the store and all display areas clean, tidy, and presentable at all times. Performance & Teamwork Meeting Sales Targets: Work towards achieving both individual and team sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
