Job Overview

Our client is looking for a dynamic and business-oriented HR Manager to lead and strengthen the organization's human resources function.

The role involves developing HR strategies, managing end-to-end recruitment, implementing HR policies and systems, improving employee engagement and building a scalable workforce to support the company's expansion across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing HR operations in a multi-location retail, QSR, hospitality or F&B environment and be comfortable working directly with business leadership and founders.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with the Founder and business heads on people-related initiatives.
• Build a performance-driven and employee-oriented organizational culture.
• Support organizational development and workforce planning.

2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for caf outlets, operations and corporate functions.
• Develop manpower planning strategies to support business expansion.
• Manage recruitment turnaround time and quality of hiring.
• Build employer branding and effective talent acquisition channels.

3. Performance Management

• Develop and implement KPI-based performance management systems.
• Design performance-linked pay and incentive structures.
• Establish KRAs, KPIs and performance evaluation processes.
• Drive employee productivity and accountability.

4. Training & Development

• Develop structured onboarding and induction programs.
• Implement training modules for caf employees and store managers.
• Identify training needs and leadership development opportunities.
• Build internal talent pipelines for future expansion.

5. HR Operations & Statutory Compliance

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Manage payroll, attendance, leave and employee lifecycle processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Oversee HRMS implementation and HR process automation.
• Manage HR audits and documentation.

6. Employee Engagement & Retention

• Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Drive strategies to reduce frontline employee attrition.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability and performance.

7. Organizational Development

• Design organizational structures and reporting hierarchies.
• Define roles, responsibilities and KRAs across departments.
• Support manpower planning and HR readiness for new store launches.
• Standardize HR processes across multiple locations.

Candidate Requirements

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
• 7 - 10 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience in F&B, QSR, retail, hospitality or multi-location businesses.
• Proven experience in managing HR operations across multiple locations.
• Strong exposure to talent acquisition, performance management and HR systems.
• Good knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience working directly with founders or senior management.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and growing organization.
