AMETEK Sensors, Test, and Calibration (STC), a part of AMETEK, Inc needs a Calibration and Operations Software Engineer to build and maintain the software and systems used by the Calibration and Operations teams across STCs factories and sites This role works closely with Calibration and Operations to define and improve software to increase efficiencies within factories and streamline calibration processes, We use C#, Dot net, C++, and JavaScript to build our products with support from tools like GitHub, Octopus Deploy, and TeamCity You will use these and other technologies of your choice to grow and maintain our calibration software and systems, Responsibilities Creating and maintaining applications and services used to manage calibration processes and manufacturing services, Supporting the calibration team with hands-on problem solving and deep incident analysis, Building automated diagnostic services and tools to configure and observe the systems in real-time, Be responsible for yourself and your colleagues by working self-directly under minimal supervision and guidance, Qualifications Understand and use Dot net Framework and Core Understand and use React Understand and use distributed systems design patterns and tools Understand and use object-oriented software design patterns Understand and use reactive user interface patterns for web user interfaces Technologies/Skills Amazon Web Services Containers Continuous Deployment/Integration Git Microsoft Dot net Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) ReactJS Education Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering or in a similar technical discipline Experience 7 to 10 years of experience in Windows desktop, HTTP API services, and web application development
