As a CoE Software Developer QA at AVEVA, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of new product features and addressing application issues related to custom products and AVEVA solutions. You will work closely with the global CORE team to test customer solutions and develop test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the software. Your responsibilities will also include assisting CoE Developers during new site commissioning, system upgrades, and expansions, as well as participating in power monitoring system testing and product development. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the global CORE team to test customer solutions and identify test scripts for new features and application issues. - Assist in adopting new resolutions and addressing technical problems escalated as bugs. - Support CoE Developers during site commissioning, system upgrades, and expansions. - Participate in power monitoring system testing and contribute to product development. - Resolve technical problems and assist in code fixes. - Document new solution features using the Knowledge Base tool. - Design, plan, research, evaluate, and test complex systems used for monitoring and controlling program execution. Qualifications: Essential: - Proficiency in SQL Database querying and programming. - Experience in software, database troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem-solving. - Positive attitude, self-motivated, and customer-focused. - Strong communication skills in English. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work with individuals from various technical backgrounds. - Willingness to travel to customer sites regionally and globally. Desirable: - Minimum 5 years of programming experience. - Knowledge of C#, HTML5 coding, Entity Framework, Angular JS. - Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, and HMI. - Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent. - On-site or remote technical support experience. - Familiarity with AVEVA products and control systems. - Experience with CRM systems. - Bilingual in English and French/Italian/German/Dutch is an asset.
