You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical operations of a 5 GW TOPCon Cell Line manufacturing plant. Your main duties will include ensuring a continuous power supply to all plant sections, which includes process tools, utilities, cleanrooms, and offices. You will be required to monitor and maintain various electrical systems such as HT/LT systems, transformers, switchyards, PCC/MCC panels, DGs, UPS, and backup systems. It will be crucial for you to ensure that strict adherence to electrical safety standards, arc flash protection, and grounding systems is maintained throughout the plant. One of your key responsibilities will be to implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure system uptime of more than 99.9%. Additionally, you will lead a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and contractors for project execution and daily operations. As a leader, you will need to define team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), assign responsibilities, and conduct regular performance reviews and skill development programs to ensure the team operates efficiently. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance in the Electrical department. Your work shift will be rotational or continuous operation. Your key responsibilities will include performing routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, panels, switchgear, motors, transformers, and HT/LT equipment. You will be required to supervise electrical maintenance during shifts, troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits, and ensure minimum downtime. Additionally, maintaining logbooks, shift reports, and permit-to-work systems, monitoring and managing power distribution for load balancing, and coordinating with control room and mechanical/instrumentation teams during plant disturbances are vital tasks. Strict adherence to electrical safety standards, LOTO, and statutory compliance is expected, along with assisting in preventive maintenance planning and supporting audits and inspections. Key skills and competencies that are required for this role include a strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, MCC, DG sets, PLC, VFDs, and protection relays. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment in thermal power plants or industrial facilities is essential. You should have a sound understanding of electrical safety practices and emergency response, and working knowledge of maintenance software / CMMS will be a plus. Your ability to manage shift teams and resolve issues independently is crucial. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.,
