As a Facility & Utility Maintenance Engineer at Oetiker, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of equipment and facilities throughout the plant. Your primary duties will include supervising external vendors to carry out proper maintenance, managing equipment such as HT/LT substations, DG sets, compressors, HVAC systems, chillers, and AHUs. You will also oversee the maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic press machines, monitor downtime, and implement measures to reduce production downtime. In this role, you will be tasked with planning, scheduling, and implementing cross-training programs to maintain a competent workforce. Additionally, you will manage spare parts, vendors, and ensure preventative maintenance for production machines, equipment, and in-house assemblies. Implementing global standard maintenance practices and continuous improvement initiatives will be essential parts of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve providing production and process technology support, including set-up support, troubleshooting, new machine/utility installation, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvements. You will be expected to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and work collaboratively with global teams to enhance maintenance practices. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience. Proficiency in HT/LT substation management, electrical drawings interpretation, PLC programming, troubleshooting, and possessing an electrical supervisor license are essential skills required for this role.
