Responsible for HT supply and 100% uptime
(iii) HT System
(a) General 1. To ensure 100% uptime of HT line and in case of any breakdown to coordinate with concerned persons for the rectification of the faulty line HT line. 2. To ensure the on time preventive maintenance of VCB/SF6 ensuring all safeties are operational. 3. Cleaning & Inspection after Racking out of VCB (Complete Panel Shutdown mandatory). 4. Contact Gap Checking. 5. Servicing of draw out mechanism. 6. Replacement of defective parts (VCB Spares to be supplied by the IFMS Provider). 7. Checking of Manual & motorized operation of VCB. 8. Contact Timing Checking. 9. Conducting annual preventive maintenance of AVR/Transformer unit including dehydration test. 10. Routine Tests shall be carried out on each unit as per IS: 2026. These tests shall consist of following- (a) Physical Examination (b) Insulation Resistance (c) High Voltage Tests (d) No-Load Current (e) No-Load Losses (f) Load Losses & Efficiency (g) Induced Voltage Test (h) Output Voltage Test (i) Provision for earthing (j) Winding Resistance (k) Ratio & Polarity test (l) Dielectric strength of oil.
