Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership to the maintenance teams responsible for electrical power cable systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. Develop and supervise a team of electrical technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency. Monitor and ensure the proper allocation of human and technical resources for the execution of maintenance and repair works. Maintenance and Operations Management: Oversee routine and preventive maintenance activities on electrical power cables, ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime. Manage emergency repair procedures and troubleshooting in case of power cable failures or breakdowns. Develop and implement regular inspection schedules and maintenance plans for power cables, ensuring they meet industry standards and are compliant with all regulations. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical cable maintenance activities adhere to national electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Promote a safety-first culture by educating the team about best practices and ensuring the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during maintenance activities. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and upgrades. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, safety metrics, and project milestones. Document and track any issues or failures with electrical cables, ensuring proper corrective actions are taken. Experience: Proven experience in managing power cable systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical power cable systems, including high-voltage cables, transformers, and distribution networks.
